Our Collection Procedure at Bolton Breakers
At Bolton Breakers, we take pride in providing efficient services to our customers, ensuring a seamless handover of any vehicles we handle. Our process is straightforward and hassle-free. Here’s how it works:
Step 1: Contact Us
To initiate the car scrapping process, reach out to us by calling 01204 575 555 or fill out our Scrap My Car form. Provide your personal details and as much information about your vehicle as possible. If there isn’t a specific option for your car, simply mention relevant details in the text box. In case of accident damage, specify the location and extent of the damage.
Step 2: We Contact You
Once you submit the Scrap Car Request form, we will promptly get in touch to verify the details provided, discuss a price for your car, and arrange for its collection.
Step 3: Vehicle Collection
One of our skilled vehicle technicians will arrive on the scheduled date and time to collect your car. They will inspect the vehicle to ensure it matches the description and finalize the agreed payment. You’ll need to hand over essential documents like the V5 registration document (log book) and current or previous MOT certificates. Any accompanying handbooks or service books are also appreciated.
The completion of the log book (V5) by both parties is crucial for transferring ownership legally, relieving you of any further obligations related to the vehicle.
Step 4: After Process
After collecting your car, we transport it to our scrap yard in Farnworth. We will salvage any reusable parts from severely damaged vehicles or depollute them.
